SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is the art of getting your web site placed as high in the search results as possible for your chosen keywords. For example if you had a shop that sold umbrellas and your shop was based in London, then when someone typed in umbrellas in London, you would want your site to appear as high as possible in the results.

You only pay when someone clicks on your advert. The amount that you will have to bid for your chosen keywords depends on how popular your keywords are and how lucrative the corresponding products are. For example the most expensive keywords tend to be associated with the insurance and medical industries. Most bids range from 0.10 to 0.30 per click.
